Competitor Arises

Someone else is making a game just like Minecraft! It's called CubeLands, and looks boring. It's like Minecraft for 5 year olds, it's that............ strange. Minecraft is so much better than this, and this game? You have unlimited resources, and what are you supposed to build? Some giant Mario from you know, the mario games?

The graphics are great, but The mario theme ruins everything.

Edit: ok, it does not have a mario theme, but the charecters are weird, and, well, i stick to minecraft.
but i suppose we should at least give this a try.

Well its not all about Mario apparently. I must agree the graphis and details are interesting, but we must check all of the other details before saying anything. And it's only the beta version, don't forget it.

I'll probably check it out sometime as well, but about the graphics: Minecraft may look quite a lot more primitive, but you can change that with Xau's HD texture mod. Also, does this Cubelands have as many blocks, items and everything as Minecraft?

I agree with a HD 128x128 Texture pack, minecraft looks much better and would probably be just as laggy...

I like 8x8 texture packs as they make minecraft run faster than normal

well, this game has limited blocks,compared to minecraft.
