Minecraft Roleplay - Roles, storyline etc.

We will very soon start the actual roleplay on Minecraft, so here is a thread in which we can discuss things like the different roles, the storyline, things that are to be build and so forth.

Second of all, a summary of all people in the roleplay along with information on their characters: (Please post replies to this thread containing information on your character, so that I can add it to the list)

Lyiin Taemera, Great Wizard of the Forest. (Aegonian)
Lyiin is a very solitary Elvarian wizard who lives in a small house somewhere in the forests. He is the lone follower of Hathera, a god whose existence is highly doubted by most others.

Lunark Gold (Lunark)
A Warrior Priest who recently took control over Church of the Rising Sun. He is sought to to take advice such as "This Person did... What should I do?" He is the Son of Reverend John Gold, who died shortly after... (Whatever terrible thing happened in the past that changed the world...)

Lord Notix "Fistson" Firstson XXXXII (Thunderpants)
The latest owner of the Mansion of Manliness, from which he inherits his title, he has managed to gather surviving warriors to the numerous buildings surrounding the mansion, to insure that they remain safe in numbers...
As a warrior, he believes greatly in aggressive tactics to try and protect the newly formed village from anything that may threaten it, often starting hunts with hefty rewards for the most successful hunter...

Ryiin Taemera, Great Wizard of Balance, founder of the High Wizard's Council (Ryiin Taemera)
After Ryiin fled Csesaré, he built the Two Wizard Towers and mastered the Arts of Day and Night Control (DNC).
Like Lyiin Taemera, Ryiin is an Elvarian Wizard.
Ryiin likes being a lonely man, travelling through the Prelphos, and living in the Wizard's Forest with Lyiin.

Melæren Avina, of the Elderly and Most Respected House of Kan'tarik, and disciple of the Twin Wizards of the Forest. (Veoline)
This young wizard, of the House of Kan'tarik, from the boreal lands of Uka, is a Qalik, a race of blue humanoids, possessing rather long ears, and invariably black hair, who have since times immemorial given themselves to the pursuit of knowledge and reason. Although often having cultivated weak wizarding skills, none have truly pursued this path in many years. Thus Melæren parted from the traditional occupation of his people, in deciding to becoming the disciple of the Two Great Wizards of the Forest, Lyiin and Ryiin Taemera.
His land having been devastated by a recent invasion, he decided to learn the arts of Earthbuilding first, to be of use in his land, once he will have returned, as well as those of Agriculture, his land cruelly lacking food.
Unfortunately, his race has so long strived from magic that it is extremely lengthy for him to learn these spells, which has postponed his stay ad aeternam, whereas it was only supposed to last several years at most.


Here we will summarize the storyline of our roleplay:

The Times of Old (pre-roleplay story, background information):
Once upon a time, a group of manly Warriors founded the village of Manliness in the lands of Enethea. Firstson, a great Warrior, was the Great Leader of these manly Warriors.
A group of Wizards from the far lands of Csesaré, who were the only ones able to flee from the Dark Wizards who had invaded their land, travelled to Enethea to start a new life. They formed the High Council, and built the Two Wizard Towers on the Cliffs of Forea, not far from the village of Manliness.
For a very long time the two groups lived in harmony and peace, merely noticing each other's existence, untill the hordes of Darkness invaded...

The Dark Wizards now ruling the lands of Csesaré had send their armies of monsters to conquer all surrounding lands, and one by one those lands started to fall... Now the hordes of Darkness have arrived in Enethea, and resources are starting to run out, resulting in conflicts between the Warriors and the Wizards, who both seek control over the remaining resources.
Soon, however, the two groups will discover that they need to work together if they are to defeat the hordes of Darkness, especially when one of the Dark Wizards decides to go to Enethea himself...


Here is a list of places in our world:

Thernea: The world, this is where all of our Minecraft adventures take place.

Enethea: One of the many small countries in Thernea, this is where the village of manliness and the two Wizard towers are located. It lies in the center of the explored world.
-The village of Manliness: A village founded by Firston many ages ago. It is the main base of operations for the Warriors.
-The two Wizard's Towers: Two great towers built by Ryiin Taemera as a new home after he and his brother had to flee from Csesaré.
-Forea: The great forest, located just behind the two Towers and the Mysterious Mansion.
-The Mysterious Mansion: A large, mysterious mansion located not far from the Towers.

Csesaré: A country far from Enethea, it is where the Dark Wizards now rule.
-Pendos: The city of the Dark Wizards, with the great Tower of Pendos in its center.

Uka: A great expanse of land, located in the farthest confines of the known world. It is inhabited by the Qalik, a race of blue-skinned humanoids.
-Crystal Plains: A large ice cap north of Uka.
-Kamirean Summits: A large mountainrange south of Uka.
-Lucent and Umbran plains: Two large plains to the east and west respectively, forming the borders of Uka.
-Æonia: The once great capital of the Uka. It has become a mere shadow of its former self, having been reduced to a small strip of land around the Elderly Citadel due to the invasion of the Hordes of Darkness.

You also made it to escape lunark, ye know.
Anyway, has any one noticed that the roleplay is dead?

The roleplay has officially started!

Also, the background story has been updated, and our world has been given a name (Enethea). I will start adding things like the gods of this world and a list of locations soon, and if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to listen!

Veoline, could you post your character's description soon?

Last of all, a list of new rules will be made soon (although it will probably be quite small, not like the first time). One of the things that will be added is that you can't chop trees in the Wizard's Forest, and that if you chop trees outside of it, you must remove the entire trunk (Not just one or two blocks, half trees looks awful), and you should plant a new tree where the old one used to be.

Anyways, here's the description of Uka, since I can't directly edit the OP:

The land of Uka is a great expanse of land, located in the farthest confines of the known world. Bordered by the Crystal plains(a large ice cap) to the north, the Kamirean Summits to the south, and the Lucent and Umbran plains, to the east and west, respectively, it is inhabited by the Qalik. This race of blue-skinned humanoids, distant relatives of the Elvaar, is entirely devoted to the pursuit of knowledge, since the distant past. Having long lived recluse in their land, they only recently made contact once again with the outside world, bringing Uka to the known world. In the 2 generations since contact was made, or roughly one century, the Qalik having a very long lifespan, coupled with a low natality, much knowledge was gained, but much despair as well. A few years past, the Dark Wizards of Csesaré launched their hordes of Darkness upon the lands, laying waste to the once peaceful country of Uka. Since then, the entire Qalik race has been rebuilding, piecing back together the millenia of work which were lost, and constructing all again from the ground up. Given their low natality and long lifespans, their current population is very low, in the order of the thousands, which has rendered the exploration of the outside world a necessity. Indeed, ressources, scarce before the invasion, and now nonexistent, are needed, and can be found only outside of Uka.
Uka, once devoid of corruption, has become a lair of nightmarish creatures, who roam the land and terrorize its inhabitants.
Even Æonia, the once great capital of the land, has become but a mere shadow of itself, now reduced to a small strip of land around the Elderly Citadel, the most sacred place to the Qalik, repository of memories, and guardian of the country. Protected by an ancient and powerful spell, it has remained unharmed by the recent events. But the barrier of sanctity is wearing off, and will soon wither, bringing darkness to the only remaining light of Uka. Who then will protect its people, and bring reconfort to their hearts? Will the demoniac forces engulf the land, or will the lands far beyond save Uka from a certain demise? No one knows, save the future.

Wleron Hnaghaha

A warrior of the Mansion of Manliness. He is the lumberjack, farmer and baker, but he is still a warrior. But unlike most warriors, he has majic in hime, and his is starting to reach out. Now with the wizards in our presence,and the Darkness, resources are scarce. Wleron is very valuable inthis mission of survival, because he is the farmer, who yields bread in times of need. The farm is being invaded by the Darkness however, also the wizards. What is the outcome of this? Only the wise can know............

Great, can you build a new farm in the city, we have a small communal farm but, it's nothing special and we need more!

why not an Underground farm? i will let you use some of my undrground crypt/Natural wonder.

Well, I could make a undeground farm, it would be my own design of farming, and it does not involve trampling over wheat and dirt all the time.Please do not help me make it. You will probably ruin it.

@Veoline: You can still edit most posts , including OPs, on the forum, but some sections, one of which is the Minecraft Section, have their own mods, in this case the Masters of Minecraft.

Anyway, I'll add the description as soon as possible!

Who wants to continue the Minecraft Roleplay?
Every time I have the server on, I have to wait two hours before someone joins.
After one or more people have joined, nobody is actually role-playing (except crowhunter), and every single Wizard and Warrior are becoming friends.

Well, it's been at least 3 days since you last put the server online. I might have missed every single time you did so in that timespan, but I have been watching every evening, so unless I'm blind, if we don't go online it's also possibly because the server is so often offline that we don't watch attentively anymore. Then of course, you might be busy, and to that we can't do anything.

Concerning the roleplay, I agree I have not participated in any way to the storyline for the moment, but I'm still setting up my stuff. And what storylines are there anyways to follow? If you want us to roleplay, then start a story! I'll participate in it, for sure.

In any case, when I'll have finished installing myself, I'll certainly want to continue the Minecraft Roleplay.

Isn't that the plot? Warriors and Magicians fight eachother for resources? And then they have to team up against the Dark Magician?

I got in, but it's become a maze made of bedrock....

I died, and respawned outside the maze, stuck within a huge obsidian box....
