I went 15 pages into Aeg's spore creatures. I'd love it if everyone could try and show there.

Also should I include the Tikians and the Tik-Tiks? They did exist briefly...


Anyway that took way too long to make...

Also I need to remember the name of the Notix creature which was a shapeless slime cattle. Also we always had experiments so we could have a (Wyvern name)-Notix .

Oh and we don't have to use all of these, in fact we need room for every empires wildlife.

Well, it's kind of hard for me to find specific things on the Spore page. And that I really can't make any good creations because my graphics card dosn't allow shiny paints.

That would be arceus Razz Eevee changes form once you use a certain evolving stone on them, the effect is then irreversible. Arceus/Giratina when holding a certain item change their apperance Smile

Mystery Dungeon's combat would indeed make the game a lot better, but is it just as easily modded as the 'standard' Pokemon games?

Looks to be a good go ahead should we work on a plot?

I would like to suggest, the following

Starting quiz results in one of our key races.
Some can evolve.
Use different races for each shop.

How about for the plot go from the start of the Alliance, and document all the major events and introductions of major races (especially those still around.)

That plot idea sounds good! Although, if we want to use all of our current species, we might have to start quite some time after the founding of the Alliance (which happened when the Elithian Code was signed by the Aegi and Dremeton): it took thousands of years for the first non-Elithian species to join the Alliance (the first members from another planet were the Hymids, I think).

Found any other modding tools so far? The most important thing we need is something that can change the appearance of the Pokemon.

And I can't find any other tools. :S


I hate to say it, but maybe an Elithian Game via a Pokemon ROM hack may be, well bad. Our creatures aren't elemental enough.

I'm already building a couple of personal prototypes in Unity. I have a very basic first person prototype game, a third person one (this one's hard though), and a 3D-aircraft game prototype, which is coming along pretty well for a designer with hardly any programming experience.

Maybe we can do a spacecraft game, kind off like the space battles of the Star Wars Battlefront games?

I'm using Java for scripting, it's the only language I have some experience with.

I made a top-down aircraft game on LBP2 called SkyFire, and built a prototype of a 3D-version of it in Unity. I might be able to tweak it a bit to build the first THEA Game prototype.

Looks like I better get my "Java for Dummies" Book out again...

Just for the sake of planning (Well that and it may take a while) could we create a list of all the fighters/Bombers/Small Spacecraft from The old RP which we could use, (Or at least base some ships off)

I remember:
Snowflake which was a Notix fighter and very Fast, but with little to no Shielding. (I think I described it like a muscle car? Although I would like to see it's design re-done to something similar to a previous fighter design. Link to It Very Happy)
Unnammed, Unseen Trink Fighter (Which I would posthumously name the T*42)
A Hea-Hoan Ship with Passive Cloaking
And an Aeroix Fighter which we all contributed to.
I do remember every empire having distinctive ships but well, I can't remember the specifics.

I've designed lots of Aeginian ships, some of which were created in Spore, but I also have a couple of drawings in my sketchbook. They include fighters (example), shuttles (example), carriers (example) and more. Carriers could be mayor opponents/allies, for example.
I also have Thelean ship designs, Hymidian ships, a couple of Cratonian designs (orbital cannons, which are capable of spaceflight and warfare), and even a couple of Centensian designs.

Has the Aeroix Fighter ever been created in Spore, actually?

I also have lots of designs for other spacecraft and stations, such as jumpgates, ICs, standard stations and many more, but they are all of Aeginian design.


What do you use for modelling, if you do any? I'm currently using Blender, but will try to learn some Maya soon. For textures I'm currently using Paint.NET, but I also have Photoshop (though I've never actually used it).

Yeah you know I said I get unstuck at Modelling...

I haven't actually successfully used a 3d model before. I'm a bit more 2d/sprites...

I will/would be using Blender though, and probably Paint.NET. Depending on if we want to/if I can persuade him, I could get a rather great graphic artist I know to help out. (He loved Battlefront games, especially the space bits) He even does a BIT of 3D.

It's funny I know multiple aspiring Musicians, Graphic Artists, Programmers and even a Server Admin. I seemed to have a toolbox of friends. Razz

Perhaps we should consider giving each faction say 1 carrier, 2 fighters, 1 fighter/bomber and 2 bombers/specialists.

So for Notix that would be

Fighter 1: Snowflake
Fighter 2: Aeroix Fighter
Fighter Bomber: T*SF-42 (Trink Modified Snowflake hull)
Bomber 1: Snowball (Bulkier Snowflake)

That is if we do every race. I'm just speculating.
