Use ItemCraft?
SP mods for SMP
SinglePlayer modifications for Survival MultiPlayer
All kinds of singleplayer mods are made compatible for multiplayer by a bukkit mod, ItemCraft.
It enables mods like Mo's Creatures, SuperSlopes and Fancypack.
There's only one problem: it needs the users to mod their client as well.
My question is, would you guys go through the hassle of spending 5 minutes, calmly reading the instructions on how to modify your client?
If everybody agrees, this is how our houses could look like:
PS: If we use the ItemCraft mod, all users have to use the mods the server has got enabled.

Re: SP mods for SMP
I do not think your computer has a problem with mods, unless you have a Windows 2000 or less than 1 GB RAM. But in that case, Minecraft wouldn't be able to run properly either.

Re: SP mods for SMP
Did not work. the thing it tells me is: C:\Documents and Settings\(myname)>%appdata%/.minecraft is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Re: SP mods for SMP
Perhaps the file is hidden? If so, you have to somehow check the option for showing hidden files.

Re: SP mods for SMP
Perhaps you can, in Minecraft, open the Texture Packs/Mods menu, and then choose 'open texture pack folder' (or something like that). It takes you to the texture packs folder, which is a sub-folder of .minecraft.
Re: SP mods for SMP
I see you used the wrong slash in stead of the forward slash"/" you have to use the backward slash "\"usually found above the "enter" key. You could even redirect to the bin file this way: Just at "\bin" at the end.
As for Aegonian's strategy it could work but only if you then click the button that leads you to the folder above. It's usually looks like a folder icon with a green arrow.(Only saying this because they all say you're bad with computers.)
As for the SP mods for SMP I wouldn't mind much.

Ummmm, Ryiin? That was completly un-neccary. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS OPEN MINECRAFT TEXTURE PACK FOLDER FROM THE GAME! That's how you open your stupid foledr, but I always use appdata.

Re: SP mods for SMP
It is spelled as unnecessary.
The way people should be able to acces the AppData folder without any problems (if you're not digital illiterate), is Windows + R > %AppData%
Luckily for the people who can't press two buttons at the same type and type some jibber jabber, Notch invented the open texture pack folder button.
