Post-Apocalyptic RP

As Sataz suggested, I've made a topic on the rp idea! (And as he also suggested, I make it on my own forum)

Ok, so this shortly follows the aftermath of World War III(2012-2018), and an a plague that had been released by one of the countries. The war had already taken thousands, but the war still continued. As troops moved around the world, they carried the plague with them. Soon, the every country had it.
It is now 2016, and countries finally began to realize they were killing themselves, they asked for an immediate UN meeting, to discuss what could be done about the strain of bacteria that is killing thousands, several large countries ignored the request, in fear that they'd be considered as the ones who had lost.
Now late 2016, small third world countries are shutting down due to the little amount of citizens they had left. Several groups were formed to begin protesting about how the war needed to be stopped. Of course, the governments ignored them.
Several weeks after new years eve, 2017, China fell. Now losing a major source of materials, the worlds countries began to run out of supplies such as clothing, shoes, cars, and so on. Stock Market crashes, and millions lose jobs in the US alone.
Mid-2017. Several more countries fall. Some of the few that still stand are the US, Japan, Germany, France, England, Canada, Sweden, Russia, Several 2nd world countries, and a small country that recently formed in Antarctic using new technologies.
2018, end of war. There are only about 2.1 million people left in countries around the world (compared to 7 Billion in 2012, just before WWIII) There is no electricity, people have to go into storage facilities, grow, or hunt to get their food.

However, this story is based on the year 2028, a decade after WWIII. All food has to be traded, hunted, or grown. All materials are hand-me-downs, or found in bad conditions in the few stores that haven't been stripped clean.
There are ex-army personal who get a good laugh from torturing others. There are traders, who travel on routes they have made traveling from one trading camp to the next, gathering what they can, and trading for food and clothing. There are slavers who kidnap people, and sell them as slaves. There are still farmers who have chosen to stay on their farm to grow their own food. And finally, there settlers, who stay in towns that haven't felt the full force of the war, and are trying to rebuild society.

Anyways, that's my idea! Vote yes if you want me to make it on another forum, or no to not. And post any ideas I should add to this!

I didn't say you should make it on a forum, I said you should not make it on a forum (the reason for this being that I think it would be really hard to do it this way)

I do like the idea though

What do you mean it would be hard to put this onto a forum? Where else would I put an RP? A Blog? It would be more difficult there.

Also, I wasn't thinking when I had put World War X, forgot X=10... so I'm making it a III instead.

I think it would be hard to have a cohesive story like that on a forum, I think it would work better in a game/book/movie (like I said before, however I skipped book, but that's because I don't like reading books (too much information, I know)), anyway I don't have much experience with forum RPs so you can ignore that if you think it'll work out

Yeah, don't listen to Sataz, this is probably his first RP on a forum.
I think it's worth a shot: if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out.

Erm... I really wasn't thinking... I was actually in a bad mood all day (some sort of cold)... So... I guess I can just leave that forum be until I'll need it for some reason... If everyone's OK with letting me put it on this forum, I'll go and put it! I'm not trying to get everyone separated!

I think that this RP is a pretty good idea (I will participate )

I created a new sub-forum, 'Forbidden Moon Roleplay', for you.

I will also create a new group on the forum (one for the moderators of the roleplay), but I'll need a name first. I'll make you the group's Moderator, which will give you the permission to post in the new sub-forum. When you want the sub-forum to be accessible to others, tell me, and I'll make it public.

Also, if you'd like the sub-forum's name to be changed, or if you want some sub-forums inside the sub-forum (like the Minecraft Section), or multiple sub-forums in the Category (like the Creation Section), tell me.

Oh, and as for a name for the group, may I suggest "Eversion"? (Edited version of eversio, which is Latin for destruction, which from I found, is a synonym for Collapse)

Ohh thank goodness that's over. Anyways, good idea, but I never like post-apocyliptic stuff because I get that bad feeling inside me. You know what I mean.

By "post-apocalyptic", it's not like zombies everywhere, or the entire world turned into a wasteland. It's more like the human race just dissapeared, and now cities are crumbling and nature is taking over..

So basically, it's more like a book like Hatchet (or even a show like survivor man) than Left 4 Dead. Just a more complex version of Hatchet.

Done! I'm currently editing the Category's permissions, to set Eversion as the Moderating group.
I'm not sure what kind of colour you'd like to use for the group, so I chose one of which I thought it would fit a post-apocalyptic theme. I can change it at any time, if you want me to.

Basically you can post as anything human.

One sub-forum called 'Information Section', and one called 'Character Section'? Will do!

Oh, and what's Ryiin now? I noticed he's become Purple instead of Blue.

As for Ryiin's colour, I reorganized a few groups. His name used to be blue, for being a Game Master, as the Game Masters' group order was 3 (following High Centens and Centens). Now, it is group #8, as the Game Project has kind-off stalled...
Now, group #3 is Masters of Minecraft (which is coloured purple).

Here's a list of the groups, btw:

#4: Eversion (dark red/brown)
#5: High Council (blue)
#6: Minecraft Members (dark cyan)
