| I'm a begginer at this game, and these creepers always come around my house. Anyone have a better idea, other than killing them? Also, I'v been digging for ever and have never found a cave! Post your answers and ideas for other things here. |

With creepers your best solution is to run past them and draw them away from your house then let them explode...
Don't worry you'll find some caves eventually, I managed to dig to bedrock with no caves, I went exploring and got lost in a huge one...
Anyone else notice that baddies cant see through glass? and that they are willing to walk into cactuses? It's made my house so much easier to defend!_________________ May the sounds by kind, may the winds be gentle and favourable._______________May your circuits remain clean and efficient._______________ I... really... love... ellipsises... they... are... like... awesome... really... |

| To defend yourself against creepers, you should look at the minecraft wiki and search for appropriate traps. As for the caves, just keep on digging in various areas, or go and explore untill you find a natural cave inside a mountain or so. If you do the last, I recommend placing pillars with torches on them along the way, so that you can always find your way back home. _________________ "It is our duty to protect Nature from Those Unworthy..." - Lyiin Taemera, great leader of the Aegi"I shall cleave the heavens and shake the grounds, I shall set ablaze the waters and douse the stars: I am all, I am Creaton!" - Creaton, Thelean overlord'Confraternita del Taemera' |

I find planting torches on each (mined) ore vein works well, as you can often see torch to torch... _________________ May the sounds by kind, may the winds be gentle and favourable._______________May your circuits remain clean and efficient._______________ I... really... love... ellipsises... they... are... like... awesome... really... |

| I found that you can grow cactuses? How? Also, when roleplay comes, you were saying we could only cut down trees in tree farms? Well don't you have to cut one down to get some seeds? Should I build a new house on a island or mountain? I'm going with island. Minecraft is an awesome game! I almost forgot, where do you find bamboo? |

| To grow a cactus, find one in a desert first, take some sand, and place the cactus on a patch of sand wherever you want.
The saplings will be provided by the OPs, but I also think the rules will be slightly changed: Cutting down trees near villages and such still won't be allowed, but I think that digging for resources and cutting down trees far from villages will be allowed.

The cacti grow up to 3 high and cant have blocks horizontally adjacent to them...
Destroying the bottom block will harvest all the blocks and touching them does 1/2 heart damage, they make great barriers for Mobs as most mobs will freely walk into them and die...
Has anyone ever had a forest fire from when a mob catches alight from the sunlight.... I have!_________________ May the sounds by kind, may the winds be gentle and favourable._______________May your circuits remain clean and efficient._______________ I... really... love... ellipsises... they... are... like... awesome... really... |

| Hey guys, I found a pit of lava on the surface! I drowned it with water and I got a lot of Obsidian. On beta, do you think there will be any cannons? That would be awesome. I found some bamboo finnaly and I am making this weird log cabin. Don't farm animals always fall in the ocean? The only bad thing is that I can't find any coal here. i searched for some time and have found only trees and snow. Also, my guy will probably be the same because the skinner dosn't work on my computer. One last thing: On beta,do you think we could make floating objects? (skyships) |

Lucky you, Probably not, unless you count TNT Cannons Cool, Yes, I prefer to make moats which drag them into things that then kills them... Trying digging into stone, It gets more common the further down you go, and comes in larger veins, Ms Paint? I would make something basic if you give me a desc, YES! (Notch suggested removing the existing floating objects, but then thought that was a bad idea...) At the moment you just build it connected to the ground/Cliff whatever, then remove the connector!
If Aegonian or Ryiin don't mind, I could give you the multiplayer ip address..._________________ May the sounds by kind, may the winds be gentle and favourable._______________May your circuits remain clean and efficient._______________ I... really... love... ellipsises... they... are... like... awesome... really... |

| I'm building a supply basement next to my hous, which is right next to th ocean. How many blocks down should it go? Also, if I find a skin, dos it work if you download it and do the thing on Minecraft.net? It would be cool if we could make defence cannons on beta, like harpoon cannons for skycraft and cannonball cannons for water ships and a ground infrantry. Bye. |

As many as you want as long as you dont dig sidewards into the ocean, YES! Yes it would but, would be hard to program and lots of them in SMP equals Cannon spam!_________________ May the sounds by kind, may the winds be gentle and favourable._______________May your circuits remain clean and efficient._______________ I... really... love... ellipsises... they... are... like... awesome... really... |

| We're most likely not going to implement any skycraft or waterships.. I've got some new ideas for the MC RP. _________________ "There once was a time when all people believed in God and the church ruled. This time was called the Dark Ages." | Anyone read the Edge Chronicles? You know how there is the buoyant rocks, then they made the little sumpwood skycraft, and then they built ships powered by phrax? I think it would be awesome if you could get your own Sumpwood Skycraft, and each team gets 1 Buoyant Rock ship, and 1 Phrax Flight. That would be pretty cool, you know. |
