Sorry, but Neutrons have a neutral charge and Protons have a positive charge (+1).
The opposite of a Proton is a Electron, which has got a negative charge (-1).

Re: New Guy???
That's true. I didn't react because I didn't really look at what you said, but it's true. Anyways, it's not very important, although if it were the case, our bodies would be completely, well, nonexistent.
At least we know Ryiin likes school enough to learn that, and remember it!

Re: New Guy???
I still made a mistake, only the charges of the Protons and Electrons are opposites..
The masses of those can't be opposites, because on of them would've had a negative mass, which is not the case.
You've got to love Chemistry and Physics right?

Favourite forms of science for me...
If you exclude maths!
Re: New Guy???
I like chemistry and physics quite much, but I like biology better. I don't like mathematics either, but, unfortunetely, it is often needed in physics, chemistry and sometimes even in biology...
Re: New Guy???
I find biology, too unlogical...
I like the Unbreakable rules of Chemistry, Physics and Maths...
Especially when you break them...
Chemistry experiments always seem to go wrong, and physics experiments often provide funny results...
I can prove Pi = 4 and 1+1=0

Re: New Guy???
how can 1+1 be equal to 0? i really want to know that.

Inf=Infinity
1/Inf=0
1/Inf*Inf=0*Inf
1=0
1+1=0+0
2=0
Also
1*Inf=0*Inf
Inf=0
Re: New Guy???
You can't divide something by 0, that is math error, not 0.
The answer of something divided by Infinity can't be found by modern-day humans, yet.
It's somewhat the same as thinking of a 4th dimension.
8/4=2 so 2*4=8
so if
1/Inf=0 then 0*Inf should be 1, but that's impossible.

Unfortunately in Maths, my method still works...
And that kids is why you don't divide by 0 or Infinity!
Re: New Guy???
Your method is pretty much busted, you say it's possible in Maths, but the first Math rule is that everything times 0 is 0.

Re: New Guy???
I never divide by 0, and I do take advantage of one fact.
X/Infinity = 0 (When rounded to the nearest anything) or 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000(Infinitely)1
X/Infinity = 0 (When rounded to the nearest anything) or 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000(Infinitely)1
Re: New Guy???
You said this:
1/Inf=0
That means you also say that 0*Inf=1.
Any number times 0 is always 0, so that's impossible.
You can say 1=0, but it isn't correct.
= means exactly equal, and 1 always will be 1 and 0 always will be 0.

Let's just agree,
Maths doesn't work properly if you divide/multply by 0/Infinity...
Re: New Guy???
Technically, thunderpants is right.
When infinity or zero are used, normal rules don't apply, or simply can't be applied.
You must agree that one divided by infinity does make 0, though. 0 times anything always gives 0, that's true. But think of 0.999...It's equal to 1, yet, at first glance, isn't. 1 divided by 9 gives 0,111..., and that number times 9 gives 0,999..., which is equal to 1, you must agree. Here you can see that rules aren't always obvious, and sometimes twisted.

Re: New Guy???
Actually, 1 divided by 9 gives indeed 0.111...infinity.., that number times 9 makes 1, again.

Maths doesn't work if you use reoccurring numbers, divide or multiple by Infinity or zero...
Okay is that settled?

Depends on the accuracy of the result you require...
In molecular science, the first, in trying to make a shed, the other...

Should we just stop...
Math has almost as many glitches and problems as Spore, and no amount of fixing will solve it....
Anyway how did we get on to math from you saying hi and Veoline guessing my first name!

Hmm, I agree.
We talked about school, what we like and what not, and you said you can prove 1+1=0.
I should've just said that it can't be proven wrong or right, LOL.
