Terraria!!

Terraria is a game sorta like Minecraft, except more RPG, and 2D. Since it is more of an RPG, maybe we can use it as a sorta "new" Minecraft server. It doesn't come out until a few months (Hopefully by then, I'll get my computer back) Well... anyways, I'll just show a trailer...

It indeed looks fun, but not as fun as Minecraft.
I will feel too restricted to play this game hardcore, because it's 2D.

However I do like the idea that we should have a regular game night, where we team up and play games together. We should use a regular chat as well.

It does look a lot like minecraft. I really have to say that.

Yeah, it's based on Minecraft, but it is allowed, since the maker does not use Minecraft's code.

However, back to the topic question.
Should we play this sometime? Yes.
Should we use Terraria as a replacement of Minecraft? No.

Alright, let me rephrase that. Should we use Terraria as the roleplay server instead of minecraft (in a few months when in comes out.) or should we use it as another, different roleplay? OR, should we just use it as a place to build and explore and raid?

This game looks reakky cool, did you see Pbat play it?

We shouldn't use this instead of Minecraft, that would be a waste of time and effort put in Minecraft. I think Minecraft is a better game to RP in as well.
But yes, I think that we should play this sometime, but I won't host this every day, unlike Minecraft.

I am definitely getting this game. Mainly because it has the building aspect inspired by Games like Minecraft, and RPG elements from games like Zelda. It also is a sandbox game (my favourite genre!), is an Indy game (I'm a sucker for them) and most importantly,


My mates are getting it! So I'll be playing a lot and running a server for my real life friends!

Anywhere from May to Late July, It's all down to paperwork! The game is finished pretty much, but the copyrights etc aren't, AND the developers want to ensure their site and sign-up gubbins won't crash on the day of release!

Best part is, since it's 2-D, they have a damn quick programmer and a good sprite artist, they should be churning out extra content & Bugfixes (mainly fan requested things) every month I think!

I think we could use this. it looks much easier then MC.

If you do run a server, I will pop in and since inventories carry across servers I can bring with me fun stuff!
