Headset Troubles Empty Headset Troubles

Hey guys,

So I have been recently having trouble with my headset. Even with the mic turned off, it would playback into an infinity loop into it starts to sound like sonar or alien noises. I have a sample for you guys, and if anyone knows about the subject, please inform me.

Check that it's plugged into the right sockets.
If it's a Headphone socket and Microphone socket separately try unplugging the microphone.

Otherwise I'd say it's a crossed wire in the headphones.
Does this occur with the computer's speakers? If so it could be an issue with the sound card (If you have one) or the audio section of your video card.
