Notix Species

About the Non-sentient Notix:

These Creature have been Genetically created by the Notix Empire and are Identifiable by they're Notix-Esque Features and they're name featuring the naming pattern of <Name>-Notix as opposed to the naming scheme for the sentient species of Notix-<Name>.

All Notix Subspecies, even the wild ones, are capable of using they're large radar dish like ears to pick up sound and electrical impulses, giving them a sort of Sonar which is reinforced by the ability to feel electrical impulses coming from other creatures.

Horpe-Notix


General:
Designed to live on Icicle these creatures can store fat in large sacs upon they're back so they can survive when food is scarce. They are often kept by Small Notix Outposts as beasts of burden and benefit by the Notix's love of they're kindred. Size: 1.5m to 3.5m Life Span: 45 Years

Habitat:
The Horpe-Notix live on the icy plains of Icicle where echos of noise exist and small plants can grow. They however also exist in Notix Cities and have the same temperature preference as the Notix themselves.

Diet:
The Horpe-Notix feed on both sound like other Notix Creatures and small plants, which increaes they're survivablillty on the plains of Icicle it self.

Behaviour:
Relatively docile in nature and perfectly easy to tame the Horpe-Notix, would be easy prey except for they're pack nature and the lack of Predators on Icicle itself.

Being related to Notix means that they do not fear they're Kindred however can catch diseases from the other related species.


Diftog-Notix


General:
A small creature created by the Notix to inhabit Icicle, they live in Snow difts digging out tunnels and burrows. Early in the morning these creature come to the surface and absorb the heat of the 3 suns rays through they're large crystal covered backs. Size: 25cm to 0.5m Life Span: 4/5 Years

Habitat:
The Diftog-Notix live in the snow drfits of Icicle where echos of sound exist and where small plants and fungi can grow.

Diet:
The Diftog-Notix feed on both sound like other Notix Creatures and on any plant matter or fungal matter they can find.

Behaviour:
These creatures are normally peaceful, but can become aggressive if they sense that Notix creatures are in danger!

Being related to Notix means that they do not fear they're Kindred however can catch diseases from the other related species.


Sonda-Notix


General:
A small creature created by the Notix to inhabit Icicle, they fly in great flocks above the planets surface and in it's artificial caverns, roosting amogst spires of ice. Size: 25cm to 0.5m Life Span: 4/5 Years

Habitat:
The Sonda-Notix live all across Icicle however feature in higher numbers nearer to Notix Settlements or large colonies of other wild creatures.

Diet:
The Sonda-Notix feed on both sound like other Notix Creatures and on airborne spores and insects.

Behaviour:
These creatures are social, nomadic travellers flying from 1 roost to another and feeding on the wing. They normally live in large flocks and will try to assist any Notix creature in danger. They have also been known to land near crashed ships and attract attention to the site.

Phrog-Notix


General:
A small creature created by the Notix to inhabit Icicle, they swim under the ice and live for considerable time. Size: 10cm to 10m Life Span: 250 Years

Habitat:
The Phrog-Notix live beneath the ice of Icicle and in the freezing waters. They often have burrows built in the ice to allow them to have routs in and out of the seas.

Diet:
The Phrog-Notix feed on sound like other Notix Creatures .

Behaviour:
These creatures are social and often live in Huge colonies of 100+!
