I think we should stick to Tekkit. It's fun, and very easy to install.

I'll receive my new laptop around the end of next week, and once I have it, I'll start setting up a server as soon as possible. It has 8 GB of RAM for now (cost-related), but that should still be more than enough.

Did you guys hear that Dawnguard still didn't come out for the PS3?

The developers said that there were "tons" of bugs. There are actually 3-4 that you never even find and could be fixed in an update easily.

I think I'm still off of school next week.

Yeah, they aren't releasing Dawnguard until it works better on PS3 systems... I'm starting to lose my interest anyway, it's just taking too long. There should be a StarHawk update soon (new (free!) maps and features), and Fall of Cybertron is releasing August 24th (21st in the US), and of course, I'll receive my laptop soon, so there's plenty for me to do before my study starts.

@dawnguard chat: just wondering, how come bethesda first says nothing about it coming and then all of a sudden says, yeah, it's coming but we have found some bugs. what if they use the bugs as an excuse to have people buy the DLC anyways (after what I previously mentioned that some people did not want to buy it anymore)

I should have my laptop by the 11th, so you might be able to visit the server once before leaving (if, of course, I can set up a server the day I receive my laptop...).

As for Dawnguard, I'm not sure. What I am sure of is that Bethesda is taking too long: it's been months since the release of Skyrim, and over a month since the release of Dawnguard on XBox. I find it hard to believe that they are still running into so many bugs after such a long development time (though I wouldn't be surprised if the PS3 development started later).

I read somewhere that Skyrim patch 1.7 just launched on PS3, so that could indicate that Dawnguard isn't too far away.

I have to go back to school now. I also have cross country everday after school, so I could get on the server maybye 6 PM my time on weekdays.
