The way they work is that each page has a folder and a link. The link sends you to a version of the page, while the folder contains images found on the page (Possibly those that could not be saved directly onto the page?)

Nice, thanks for backing up all those pages! When I have a bit more spare time, I'll continue going through all the pages to finish the roleplay's timeline.

I need help for a section of the Notician Biology. I can't work out how to convert sound waves into useful energy, besides heat or electricity, the latter of which is not too helpful in a cold weather biological being except of course if the Notix where adapted to sustain themselves partially from electricity. Perhaps the charge can be used to increase the rate of reaction or yield of reaction from regular chemical-energy based respiration.

Anyway any ideas fire away.


Oh and I aim to have a first draft of the Notix article done by wednesday. Well maybe the biology section, they really are alien.

I think that if sound waves are used to generate heat, it could help in driving some chemical processes the Notix rely on. It will be very difficult to generate enough energy from sound to sustain any biological creature, however. Some other source of energy - food or light perhaps - will probably be needed too. Icicle will also have to be a very noisy planet in order for the Notix to be able to collect enough energy from sound - maybe geological processes generate incredibly loud noises within its ice caverns. The Hymid use sunlight as an additional source of energy, by producing cells much like chloroplasts when energy reserves are low. If they go into hibernation, they can survive for a very long time without needing to feed.

Also mind that if Icicle is very noisy, the Notix might require some special implants or exo-suit to survive on other planets. Verbal communication might also be difficult, unless the Notix are very sensitive - despite the loud noises - and use different frequencies for communication and energy collection.



I've also been working on the Aegi a bit more. There will be multiple races with unique features, and Aegonia and other Aeginian territories will be divided into several states, which together form the Aeginian Federal Union, commonly known as the Aeginian Union or simply the Union (formerly the Aeginian Empire). There will also be a few Aeginian civilizations which are not part of the Union.

I've also worked on the structure of the Union a bit. There will be two major parties leading the Union, with one person acting as Head of State (not sure what title to give him/her yet). The first and most powerful is a small group of representatives from all major Aeginian territories - Creon, Aegonia, Vesulia, Mesaea, Laena, Vaeda and several others. The second body is a larger group of representatives from every single state.

I did some talking with friends who study biology and we worked out that the sound was turned into electricity by tiny metallic, magnetic hairs rotating within a chamber containing 2 other magnets, generating electricity via the generator effect. This electricity is then conducted by a specialised nerve-like structure which energises the reactants needed for respiration or photosynthesis in a similar manner to how photosynthesis works in plants.

I will state now that these are some key features of the Notix.

The Notix are capable of Photosynthesis and Audiosynthesis
The Notix have webbed hands and feet as to increase their sensitivity to vibrating objects
Their hands have a metallic fingerprint like hand print which they can flow electricity through to heat up to between 50 and 80 degrees Celsius making shaping Ice easier.
The Notix "See" though sonar, and have multiple rings of sensitive areas at the base of their "ears". Each ring can be disabled to deafen them to certain volumes so that they are not crippled by loud audio noise.
The Notix use the natural mineral deposits of the Noti to build their bones and Crystal back structures. This results in their bones being made from a lattice of an alloy called "Notician Steel" consisting of Iron, Silver, Carbon and Platinum.
The crystal backs act as both audio transmitters, the Notix being able to vibrate them at frequencies like natural instruments to accompany their vocal chords. They also act as the method of reproduction having a "Seed" in their centre so that when the Notix die, their crystals are dispersed. Variety is introduced by the fact that the newly spread seeds do not grow into Notix until the fledgling Noti plant merges with another.
Evolved from a Blue/Green Algae called the Noti, giving them their colour and providing there body with food.
The Ice of Icicle is high in levels of Iron, Carbon, Silver, Platinum, Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus with trace amounts of Arsenic.
The Noti naturally leaves crystals of the minerals of the ice it melts using magnified solar power
The Noti Algae uses the crystals to cover itself forming 3-d snowflake like balls that can be carried by strong winds until they meet.

The high subterranean activity would not make sense of the deep city fo Tranq-While however the the wind whistling over the dunes of snow and amongst the crystals would make some noise.

A small update: I've now also started working on a new map of Hyrolia - which I'll probably be renaming to Hyzolia, or something similar. The map will, eventually, be the same size as the Elithian map - 10240 by 5120 pixels. I'll soon start thinking of some more stuff for the Hymidian society, such as form of government, culture, biological information etc.

After this, I plan to update the map of Har-Magil, along with a new description of the Magilian empire.

I've finished the geography of Hyzolia, and am currently uploading the image on DeviantART. I'll update this post with a link to the image as soon as it's done uploading!

The names of locations and cities are yet to be added, but I wanted to show you guys the map now, as it might be some time before I finish it entirely.

Also, the forum's been so slow these past few days! We should play something like Minecraft, Civilization or StarMade together! If any of you have GTA V on Playstation 3, you can also join my clan in GTA Online (though I won't be playing until the next patch is out).

Also yeah I haven't been active, school, Terraria and now Magicka Wizard Wars.

Indeed the map looks great! (But it looks strangely like a bloated and misshaped earth)

For comparison, here's the original map I drew of Hyzolia a few years back. Like Elithia, I wanted it to look more realistic - in graphics and geography both. And yes, I did take some inspiration from Earth
